Who we are

The Mental Health Foundation works towards creating a society free from discrimination, where all people enjoy positive mental health and wellbeing, regardless of whether or not they have a mental illness or experience of mental distress.

Wellbeing is for everybody, and the Foundation wants to make sure people who have experienced mental distress have the tools and support they need to live well.

The Mental Health Foundation runs nationwide mental health campaigns, provides free information and resources and advocates for policies and services that support people with experience of mental illness, and their whānau and friends.

They take a holistic approach to mental health, promoting what they know makes and keeps people mentally well.
