Well, this isn't the way I expected to be celebrating my 50th - in lockdown in Dunedin, NZ, working silly hours to keep the charity where I'm CE, Garden to Table Trust, financially viable. I'm meant to be in Bali, biking through rice paddies! All across NZ funding bodies are closing to new applications, corporates are putting a hold on their donations, and generous, individual donors have become our lifeline. Garden to Table doesn't receive any government funding, although our work, building resilience and life-skills in children, has never been more important. So, to celebrate making it to half a century, I've created this birthday registry and I would be so grateful for anything you are able to give to support us. We need to be here to help pick up the pieces once we emerge from COVID-19, but we can't do it without the help of many generous individuals like you.
