Sam's Lockdown Birthday
Lovely friends, instead of buying me a birthday drink - which is looking like an unlikely prospect currently! - I would be over the moon if you would consider a donation to the Auckland Refugee Family Trust instead. The Trust needs funds to support women and children in Afghanistan who already hold visas and have loved ones here in New Zealand. As soon as commercial flights resume, the cost of fares will be sky high - any money raised goes direct to cover travel costs for families who would otherwise be unable to afford them. It would make my lockdown birthday that much sweeter if I knew we were helping! x

Hello lovely & generous friends, for my birthday this year what I really want is to help reunite the families of people who have arrived here as refugees! Every cent raised will go directly on airfares to bring family members (who have already been granted visas) here to live with their loved ones. It's one cause where I can guarantee your kindness will quite literally change lives - so happy birthday to me!
