Mandas Birthday. AGAIN!
I'm a big fan of the work that the INCREDIBLE team at Chained Dog Rehab & Rehoming do, and I want to keep doing my bit to help them. I don't need presents, I want these dogs to get what they need whether it be dentals, medication or just a warm soft bed to sleep in for the first time in their lives. Donating even $1 will help the team give this to these deserving dogs. No one can do everything, but everyone can do something.... Amandas 21st.... Kind of....
My birthday is coming up and rather than getting presents, I'd rather help out my favourite charity, that I also happen to be one of the trustees of. CDRRNZ help so many dogs, both on the chain and off. We work to empower dog owners to be the best dog owners they can be, and rehome dogs to the most amazing forever homes. I got involved in rescue many years ago when I became a dog mum to Poppy, an ex Backyard breeding dog. To see how she was treated horrified and upset me, so I started looking for ways that I could help make a difference in dogs lives. Poppy was the smallest dog, with the biggest heart, and I lost her late last year. Her presence is still felt deeply and inspires me every day to keep helping those who cannot speak for themselves. This photo is the last photo I got of Poppy and I before she passed. EVERY cent raised helps a dog in our care. Whether it be to get them vet treatment, to desex them, to feed them, to train them, or to give them a toy they've never had. Thank you for donating to this cause and helping bring joy back to a dogs life.
